April 20, 2017, Uttar Pradesh: VidyaGyan, a free residential school for meritorious, underprivileged, rural students of Uttar Pradesh, today announced the postponement of its preliminary written examination which was earlier scheduled for Sunday, April 23, 2017 across all districts in the state. The exam will now be held on May 14, 2017.
Every year VidyaGyan conducts an examination to select the most deserving students to study at its two campuses i.e. Bulandshahr and Sitapur. During the transportation of the examination papers for this year’s preliminary written test, a set of papers was found to be missing. Given the stringent process followed by VidyaGyan to ensure that only the truly meritorious and underprivileged students are able to secure admission, the school management has decided to postpone the exam. The preliminary written test will now be held on May 14, 2017 with a new set of question papers.
